An expert from MEP was a member of a multi-disciplinary team designing and implementing the fisheries aspects of a Regional Development Plan. The project encompasses upgrading of landing facilities, new vessel design, provision of enhanced fishing gear, ice making equipment and fish processing facilities. The expert ran training workshops and set up cooperatives.
