MEP carried out a study into the possible impacts of fisheries on a new undersea cable in the Mediterranean Sea and Atlantic Ocean. The study covered commercial fish species in the area of the proposed route, fishing methjods and fishing vessel types and engine power, fisheries cooperatives and associations and sea bed features.
