An MEP team of fisheries experts visited Angola to appraise a proposed investment comprising modernisation of fishing harbours and provision of new fishing vessels and equipment. The proposals were rationalised and the investment plans phased to allow introduction of modern technology at an appropriate rate. A large training component was also recommended.
