An MEP staff member has helped BREEF and the Department of Fisheries to prepare a fisheries and reef recreation management plan for the Bahamian coast. This plan, which will include extensive stakeholder consultation with those involved with tourism, fisheries, conservation and other development interests, aims to ensure the sustainable use of one of the country's most valuable and sensitive natural resource assets.
