In conjunction with Sir William Halcrow and Partners Ltd., MEP assisted in a project identification study on the private port development of Chile. Specific reference was placed on resources and their use including the small pelagic species for fish meal production and the bottom trawling of hake for domestic consumption, shrimp and squat lobster, and how these industries could be incorporated into any new development plans.
