Preparation of a Bohai Sea Coastal Resources and Environmental Management Plan to address problems of overfishing, unplanned aquaculture development and environmental degradation in this semi-enclosed sea in Northern China. The result of the project should be better coordination of coastal management, development of long-term planning for the fisheries and aquaculture industries, and improved response to oil spills and other pollution problems.
