The project identification document was reviewed and expanded to prepare a fisheries sector project preparation and development plan to support the construction of a fisheries port, a national wholesale market, production facilities on the Gambia river, an MCS programme, institutional strengthening and a research component. Detailed financial and economic evaluation was undertaken of all project components, and a preparation report prepared.
