MEP produced a brief survey of fisheries in the Gulf of Guinea -Nigeria, Cameroon, Ghana, Gabon and Sao Tome and Principe. An analysis and brief description was presented on current fish production, the importance of fisheries to the national economy, historical and existing fishing patterns and future prospects for fisheries.
