As fisheries consultants, MEP assisted in conducting a design study into the establishment of a new fishing harbour for the city of Beirut as part of a major marine development scheme incorporating marina, naval port and fishing harbour. MEP defined and specified the fishing vessel and shore infrastructure requirements of ice plants, cool stores, fish processing halls, fuel supplies, slipway, vessel repair and maintenance facilities and proposed shore facility layouts, vessel traffic flow design and mooring arrangements.
