MEP undertook a sector review of the Lithuanian Fishing Industry. The report centred around Klaipeda, its governing authorities and associated industries, and made recommendations for total allowable catch for a variety of target species. Recommendations were also made regarding catch ratios between neighbouring states and fishing waters and set out 'no fishing' areas.
