Mifco Slipway Study

An MEP team conducted a feasibility study for the construction of a slipway in the southern Maldivian atolls for the most important fishing company in the Maldives. Various potential construction sites were evaluated on the basis of their likely environmental impacts and their position with regard to the activities of MIFCO vessels. Once the best site had been identified, a complete slipway design was prepared and costed, funding sources and construction contractors identified and suggestions for slipway operations and maintenance made.
