An assessment was made of the commercially important fish stock in Oman by analysing biological data recorded from a total of 35 species of fish sampled. Estimations were made of the spawning activities, size at maturity, length-weight relationships and biological parameters useful for resource assessment of the most important species. Length frequency analysis was also undertaken for the determination of growth of three of the major ten species.
