MEP carried out a feasibility study for the General Santos Port Agricultural Processing Centre. Research was carried out on the tuna markets and processing facilities in the Philippines in conjunction with a fisheries specialist to assess the present status of the tuna industry and other fisheries in the region and to formulate price and volume projections. A fish processing specialist was involved to determine sub projects in the fish handling and processing facilities and to make recommendation on the layout of a proposed new facility.
