To ensure the harmonisation of Polish fisheries legislation with the acquis communautaire in order to enable the operation of the Common Fisheries Policy (CFP) in Poland and the organisation of necessary institutions responsible for the adjustment of the new regulations. This included a comparative analysis of relevant EU Regulations and Directives and Polish laws and preparation of a plan for approximation of Polish law to Community law.
