MEP conducted a feasibility study for the construction of a jetty on the environmentally sensitive Helford Estuary in Cornwall, designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a Site of Special Scientific Interest because of its rare and abundant intertidal and marine flora and fauna. A jetty design to allow fishermen to load and unload their vessels in hygienic conditions, without compromising the environment, was drawn up.
