Directors and staff of MEP prepared, on behalf of the FAO Investment Centre, a detailed study and plan for the development of the fisheries of Yemen with particular reference to the area between Mukalla and Sayhut. Shore-based facilities to improve fish landing, supply of fishing gear and equipment, and fish distribution and marketing were designed and costed in detail.
