MEP were retained by Maldives Marine Products Pvt Ltd (MMP) to advise on the establishment of their new Tuna Processing operation based on Hulhumale, Maldives. This included the factory fabric and advice on the final finishes up to EU Standards, the best and most suitable equipment to purchase, suggested staffing levels and advice on the selection of a suitable plant manager, HACCP documentation needed to satisfy the Ministry of Health and a schedule for implementation and follow up actions. Meetings were held with the Competent Authority.
