Development of an international Long Line Fishing Good Practice Guide

MEP were asked to compile a good practice guide for tuna long line fishermen. The booklet was produced for fishermen in Sri Lanka engaged in the capture of bigeye and yellowfin tuna for the export markets in the UK and the EU. It has become a guide for the tuna long line fishing sector on applicable UK and EU regulations concerning food safety.
