Cargo claims
MEP has investigated cargo claims on many fish and high value crustacia shipments all over the world. Investigating the cause of the problem, finding alternative markets for product and acting as expert witness and analysing chemical deterioration are all services offered.
Marine pollution
Oil and chemical spills are hazards to biodiversity and MEP has assessed impacts on marine species, aquaculture and benthos from spills in many cases. Hardship to individuals and companies caused by spills can often be alleviated through prompt action by assessors.

Expert witness
MEP can provide expert witnesses for most marine and fisheries issues and has done so in courts of law as well as public enquiries.
Accident liability
