Daniel Auwkit

Daniel Auwkit is a consultant at MEP and holds Master’s degrees in both Zoology and Sustainable Aquaculture. He is a skilled researcher and data analyst, leading on global fisheries and aquaculture projects for clients including the World Wildlife Fund for Nature (WWF), World Bank and the private sector. Since joining MEP, Dan has applied his specialist knowledge of aquaculture to several projects including the completion of an analysis of carbon assessment methods relevant to aquaculture supply chains in the UK. He has also overseen the management of a hatchery and grow-out development project at an aquacultural research facility in Mozambique. Projects such as this have required the coordination of a team of international experts to achieve their wider project goal, which seeks to contribute toward food security in a developing nation.
