As MEP’s Management Accountant and Company Secretary , Lynn is responsible for the finance functions and adherence to government regulations. This includes overseeing the recording of all financial transactions, invoicing, treasury and cash management. Also management of the financial element of client contracts. One element is the financial management of specific projects which involve loss adjustment and compensation payments to claimants, in both the public and private sectors. Such projects include port and harbour development, renewable energy generation and marine insurance cases.
Before joining MEP in 2019, Lynn worked for many years in the cable TV and Telecoms industry where she managed the Residential and Business billing Teams, liaising with fulfillment houses and call centres to manage bill production and posting out. Her role then changed to being Debt Collections Manager which was a challenging role as residential and business debt needed to be managed very closely. Lynn’s previous commercial experience shows she is an excellent all-round finance manager and a vital part of the MEP team.
