AIS Tracking Unit on Artisanal Fishing Canoe
Fran has recently returned from her mission in Sierra Leone, where she was installing AIS Tracking units on artisanal fishing canoes, in two rural communities. Fran installed the 20 units onto fishing masts, which has resulted in satellite tracking, giving us the ability to view the data online. Fran thoroughly enjoyed visiting Sierra Leone, where she was given a warm welcome by both communities.
