MEP have completed two projects to date.  Firstly, MEP performed a fisheries review and cost-benefit analysis of implementing a static gear marine park in Jersey.  MEP then went on to conduct a feasibility study of a low impact fisheries model in Jersey, to assess the opportunities and constraints of implementing a ‘low impact model’ for Jersey’s commercial fisheries, a part of which incorporates a static gear only Marine Park.
